Yatra to Gurdwara Sri Hemkunt Sahib suspended for two days due to heavy snowfall
Punjab E News: Due to heavy snowfall last night at Gurdwara Hemkunt Sahib, which is situated at a height of 15,000 feet in Uttarakhand, the yatra has been stopped for two days keeping in mind the safety of the pilgrims.
The jatha of the devotees had taken place six kilometers away from Gurdwara Gobinddham to Hemkunt Sahib, but on the way, due to which it was difficult to reach the Gurdwara Hemkunt Sahib. Keeping this in mind, the pilgrims have returned m to Gurudwara Gobind Dham. It is worth mentioning here that the Meteorological Department has predicted a seasonal seizure for two days on May 25 and 26.
