Sikh Jatha in Pakistan for Baisakhi celebration: One pilgrim died in Pakistan

Punjab E News (Amritsar):- A pilgrim has reportedly died in Pakistan, who had gone to celebrate Baisakhi pay obeisance at Gurudwaras located in Pakistan in Sikh jatha two days back. 

   Nishabar Singh (83), a resident of Barasat Karnal, Haryana, and had left for Pakistan on April 12 with a Sikh group by the International Attari-Wagah Border road. Nishabar Singh suffered a heart attack at Rawalpindi railway station when he was on his way to pay obeisance at Gurudwara Sri Panja Sahib. He was admitted to the hospital. However, doctors declared him brought dead.

    His mortal remains were handed over by Pakistan Ranger to the BSF in presence of SGPC officials. Later, his mortal remains handed over to the family, officials said.
