New Delhi: Today, India is celebrating its 76th Independence Day with great zeal and fervour. On this occasion, PM Modi hoisted the tricolor from the ramparts of the Red Fort. After which the PM addressed the country. Referring to Savarkar, including Gandhi, Bose, Ambedkar, the PM introduced India's challenges including diversity, achievements.

1. Today, the whole country is immersed in the celebration of independence. Everyone is celebrating Independence Day with enthusiasm and enthusiasm. The whole of India has been decorated with color with the tricolor. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation after hoisting the national flag from the ramparts of the Red Fort.

2. "The country is grateful to countless revolution heroes like Mangal Pandey, Tatya Tope, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Rajguru, Chandrashekhar Azad, Asfaqullah Khan, Ram Prasad Bismil, who shook the foundation of British rule.

3. During his address, the PM said that this is the time to remember Gandhi, Ambedkar, Bose and Savarkar. Giving special attention to developed India, PM Modi said that we do not want anything less than this. We will build a developed India within 25 years.

4. Referring to India's diversity in his address, PM Modi said that we have to get out of the mentality of slavery. At the same time, the PM saluted the army officers. The PM termed corruption and nepotism as the biggest challenges of the country.

5. Various monuments of the country have also been decorated in the light of the tricolor. In every state of the country, people are celebrating the independence festival in their own way.

6. Great preparations have been made across the country to celebrate this festival of independence. Meanwhile, a high alert is also continuing due to the fear of terrorists. As a precautionary measure, intelligence agencies have issued a high alert for a terrorist attack in Delhi.

7. Around 1,000 cameras are being used for security in the capital. The cameras have been installed by the North, Central and New Delhi district units of the city police.

8. On the occasion of Independence Day, elaborate security arrangements have been made till Jammu and Kashmir. At the Red Fort, multi-layered security arrangements have been made at the entrances ranging from cameras with facial recognition system.

9. Along with this, more than 400 kite flyers and kite catchers have been deployed on the roofs of buildings and at sensitive places in the areas around the fort.

10. Apart from this, a five-km area of the Red Fort has been declared a 'no kite zone' (ban on flying kites) area till the ceremony is over.
