Arvind Kejriwal’s ED custody ends today, will be produced in court
New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who is implicated in a money laundering case related to the liquor policy case, will be produced in the Rouse Avenue Court today.
Arvind Kejriwal’s Enforcement Directorate (ED) custody is ending today, which was extended till April 1 on Thursday. According to sources, the ED will not seek further remand. In such a situation, Arvind Kejriwal will be sent to Tihar Jail.
The ED had sought Kejriwal’s custody for seven days in the previous hearing, but the court said he has to be produced before the court on April 1 at 11 am.
The ED produced Kejriwal before Special Judge Kaveri Baweja of the Rouse Avenue court as his current custody was coming to an end on Thursday.
