New Delhi: The dates for assembly elections 2023 in five states have been announced. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday announced the names of 162 candidates for three states – Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. BJP releases first list of 41 candidates for Rajasthan assembly polls.
The party has fielded seven sitting MPs in Rajasthan. In Chhattisgarh, two MPs have been made candidates. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore will contest from Jhotwara in Rajasthan, Diya Kumari from Vidyadhar Nagar, Baba Balaknath from Tijara, Hansraj Meena from Sapotra, Kirori Lal Meena from Sawai Madhopur, Narendra Kumar from Mandwa and Devi Patel from Sanchore.
