BJP sting on MCD polls, alleges AAP leaders demand Rs 80 lakh for ticket
New Delhi: Ahead of the MCD elections, the BJP on Monday showed a sting operation and claimed that AAP leaders are demanding Rs 80 lakh to give tickets in the elections. BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra claimed that a bribe was demanded from AAP leader Bindu to give ticket from ward 54 of Rohini-D.
Patra showed two videos and claimed that money was demanded for the ticket. The name of AAP leader RR Pathania is also coming up in this sting. Two days ago, the BJP had released videos of former AAP minister Satyendar Jain from Tihar Jail. In these, he is seen getting a body and head massage in Tihar’s room.
“Pathaniaji himself is saying that there is an issue of money. The names of Gopal Rai, Saurabh Bhardwaj, Rakhi Birla are coming up in the conversation. It’s certain that the money is going on. The Aam Aadmi Party is extorting,” he said.
Meanwhile, AAP has yet not reacted to the video and BJP’s allegations.
