Canada-India dispute: Akali Dal (Amritsar) to take out National Justice March on October 1 to protest against visa ban
Punjab E News: After India announced that it would not grant visas to those coming from Canada, the Akali Dal (Amritsar) announced a national justice march from Takht Damdama Sahib Talwandi Sabo to Akal Takht Sahib Amritsar on October 1. The Akali Dal (Amritsar) said that due to this, parents whose daughters and sons have been living in Canada for a long time are worried.
The party leaders said that this is also tarnishing the image of the Sikhs at the communal level.
SAD (Amritsar) national general secretary Gursewak Singh Jawaharke said the Canada-India dispute was portraying a bad picture of the Sikhs.
He appealed to all the parents that the parents of Punjabi boys and girls living in Canada should bring their vehicles in large numbers to the national march to be taken out on October 1 so that it could shake the Government of India that Punjabis should not be harassed in this dispute.
