Former CM Amarinder Singh’s wife Preneet Kaur likely to join BJP, Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s rally in Patiala postponed
Punjabenews: Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s Patiala rally has been postponed. No new date has been announced for the rally. Meanwhile, speculation has intensified that Preneet Kaur, wife of former Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh and MP from Patiala, will join the BJP.
According to sources, Preneet Kaur can join the BJP at any time. For this, she can also go to Delhi like her husband Captain Amarinder Singh. She is likely to join the BJP after meeting union home minister and other senior leaders there.
Earlier, it was believed that Preneet Kaur would join the BJP only during the union home minister’s presence in Patiala, but the day of her joining the BJP changed due to the postponement of the rally. However, no information has been made public about whether Preneet Kaur will wait for Home Minister Amit Shah’s rally or go to Delhi and join the BJP.
In the Pathankot public meeting, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa has said that Preneet Kaur should be expelled from the party. Rahul Gandhi said that those who have left, it is good for the party, so Preneet Kaur should also be expelled from the party. Randhawa even called the Captain family a traitor number 1 of Punjab.
