Jalandhar Lok Sabha bypoll: Core committee meeting to be chaired by Sukhbir Badal on April 1

Punjab News: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal has convened a meeting of the party’s core committee at the party office in Chandigarh on April 1.

The party will finalise its strategy for the Jalandhar Lok Sabha bypoll. It will also discuss the current political situation in the state. This will be followed by a meeting of the district president and the constituency in-charge at 2 pm. This information was given by senior Akali leader Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema tweeted.
The date of election to the Jalandhar Lok Sabha seat, which fell vacant after the death of MP Chaudhary Santokh Singh, has been announced.
