JDU’s Lalan Singh resigns, Nitish Kumar appointed new party president
Lalan Singh has resigned from the post of Janata Dal United (JDU) President. The party has also accepted Lalan Singh’s resignation. JD(U) president Lalan Singh proposed Nitish Kumar’s name for the post of party chief in the national executive meeting.
Senior party leader K C Tyagi said that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has been elected as the president of the party in the national executive meeting of the party.
