MLA’s husband inaugurates development projects in Sangrur, opposition slams AAP
Punjabenews: Opposition has slammed the ruling Aam Aadmi Party after husband of Sangrur MLA Narinder Kaur Bharaj inaugurated development projects in the constituency.
BJP leaders alleged that her husband Mandeep Singh Lakhewal has taken over charge of inaugurating various projects in the constituency in her absence.
Lakhewal inaugurated a new cemented floor in vegetable market on Wednesday.
Randeep Deol, president of BJP’s local unit said that while Punjab government banned husbands of women sarpanchs from taking part in official meetings, but husband of Sangrur MLA is inaugurating projects in Sangrur. Such incidents are revealing the double standards of the government.

“Punjab government and Sangrur MLA should clear their stand that in which capacity he is doing the inauguration work”, he asked.
Meanwhile, Mandeep Singh Lakhewal told media that her wife not well so he along with the team of Aam Aadmi Party reached at the venue. But he does not inaugurate the projects, party’s team did.
