Nominations begin for the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections, 96 seats to go to polls
New Delhi: The nomination process for the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections in the country has started today. The Election Commission of India has issued a notification in this regard on behalf of the President.
A total of 96 seats, including nine states and five in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, will go to polls in the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections on May 13. All the seats in Andhra Pradesh (25) and Telangana (17) will go to polls in this phase.
In this phase, voting will be held in different constituencies of Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Jammu and Kashmir.
Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh are scheduled to be held on May 13 along with the Lok Sabha polls.
