PM Modi makes first visit to Russia since Ukraine invasion
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to Russia. On his arrival in Moscow, the capital of Russia, he was given a grand welcome at Vnukovo International Airport on Monday and was given a guard of honor.
Modi’s itinerary includes dinner with Russian President Vladimir Putin, interaction with the Indian diaspora and the 22nd India-Russia annual summit where the leaders of the two countries will discuss a range of issues of global interest.
PMO shared photos on X and wrote, “PM @narendramodi arrived to a ceremonial welcome in Moscow, Russia. He would be meeting President Putin and taking part in other programmes.”
