Punjab Assembly 2-day session: LoP Bajwa questions legality of session; raises issue of MLA Kunwar Vijay Pratap, SYL
Chandigarh News: The two-day session of the Punjab Assembly began today. The session began with the Punjab Assembly paying tributes to the deceased senior politicians.
After paying tribute and observing silence, the suspension session has started. Leader of the Opposition Partap Singh Bajwa has questioned the legality of the session.
During the Zero Hour, Pratap Singh Bajwa repeated the questions raised by MLA Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh in the session. Bajwa said that MLA Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh, who was a member of the SIT, has raised questions on Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. At the same time, it has been alleged that the present government has started turning away witnesses.
Likewise, LoP has targeted the government over the statement made by AAP MP Sandeep Pathak on the issue of water in Haryana by constructing SYL. He sought resignation of Sandeep Pathak and also demanded a probe into the allegations against Sheetal Angural.
