Punjab News: Manisha Gulati removed as chairperson of Punjab Women’s Commission

Punjabi News: Manisha Gulati, chairperson of the Punjab Women’s Commission, has been removed from the post. On September 18, 2020, Manisha Gulati was given a three-year extension by the Punjab government. 

According to the orders issued by the Social Security, Women and Child Welfare Department, there is no provision to extend the period under the government rules. Due to which the post of chairperson of the Women’s Commission has been withdrawn from her.
