“Talks held in a cordial atmosphere”:, says Minister Piyush Goyal after meeting with farmers

Chandigarh: The fourth round of talks between Union ministers and farmer leaders in Chandigarh has ended. The meeting was attended by three Union ministers, including Agriculture Minister Arjun Munda, and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann along with farmer leaders.

The meeting was held at the Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration, Sector 26, Chandigarh. The two sides had earlier met on February 8, 12 and 15 but talks remained inconclusive.

After the fourth round of talks ended in Chandigarh, Union Minister Piyush Goyal said, “… We had positive discussions with Bharatiya Kisan Mazdoor Sangh and other farmer leaders… We had a detailed discussion on how to take forward the work done by Prime Minister Modi in the last 10 years.”
