Union Minister Ravneet Bittu calls Rahul Gandhi ‘No.1 terrorist’
Chandigarh: BJP leader and Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu made a controversial statement regarding Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Bittu, who is the Minister of State for Railways, claimed that the Leader of Opposition has described Rahul Gandhi as the “number one terrorist” in the country.
He accused the Congress leader of attempting to divide the Sikh community, stating, “Sikhs are not associated with any party. This is an attempt to create a spark, and Rahul Gandhi is the No. 1 terrorist; he should be rewarded.” Bittu’s remarks refer to a statement made by Rahul Gandhi about Sikhs during a visit to the United States.
During an event in Bhagalpur, Bihar, Bittu responded to reporters’ questions about Gandhi. He stated, “I think Rahul Gandhi is not an Indian in the first place. He has spent a lot of time outside India. His friends are there, his family is there. That is why, according to me, he does not love his country very much. He goes out and says everything wrong, and especially he does not even know what the pain of the worker is despite being in politics.”
Bittu continued his criticism, saying, “Half your life has passed; now you have become the leader of the opposition, and you go around and take photos. It makes fun of them.”
He also commented on Rahul Gandhi’s recent remarks, adding, “Now Rahul Gandhi sometimes talks about OBCs and sometimes about caste. Rahul Gandhi has no understanding.”
