With legal guarantee of MSP, farmers will contribute significantly to GDP: Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi: Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi today said the legal guarantee of minimum support price (MSP) will not burden the country’s farmers budget but contribute significantly to the gross domestic product (GDP).

He also said that it is being lied that it is not possible to give a legal guarantee of minimum support price in view of the budget. Recently, the Congress had promised to give a legal guarantee of minimum support price to farmers if the India alliance comes to power at the Centre in 2024.
