BJP leaders hold protest outside Kejriwal house in Delhi over Bagga's arrest by Punjab Police

New Delhi: After Punjab police's action against BJP leader Tejinder Pal Bagga in Delhi, BJP is attacking the Arvind Kejriwal government in Delhi.

BJP leaders protested outside CM Arvind Kejriwal's house and Delhi BJP president Adesh Gupta said that Kejriwal is misusing power.

BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa said he will continue to protest against Arvind Kejriwal. He wrote on Twitter, "New arrest warrant against @TajinderBagga by Mohali Court tells how vindictive @ArvindKejriwal is against people who expose his lies! You must not comprise on the respect and stature of Punjab to please your party leader, @BhagwantMann Ji."

Controversy over Bagga's arrest

BJP leader Tejinder Pal Bagga was arrested by the Punjab Police. He was accused of making objectionable statements against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. But after the arrest, the Punjab Police vehicle was stopped in the BJP-ruled state of Haryana. At the same time, the Delhi Police registered a case of kidnapping and sent one of its teams to Haryana. After the day-long uproar between the police of the three states, Bagga was finally brought back to Delhi. A Delhi Police team rushed Bagga to his home late on Friday night. The BJP is now attacking the Arvind Kejriwal government over this whole issue.
