11-year-old child falls of toy train at Elante Mall in Chandigarh, dies

Chandigarh: An 11-year-old boy, Shahbaz, died after a toy train overturned in Chandigarh’s Elante Mall. After the accident, the child was admitted to the government hospital in Sector-32, where he died during treatment at 4 am on Sunday.

The police have seized the toy train.

The deceased child was identified as Shahbaz (11), a resident of Nawanshahr. The police have seized CCTV footage from inside the Elante Mall.

A case has been registered against the driver of the toy train and the mall management on the statement of the parents.
