12-year-old boy after throat slit by Chinese kite string while riding cycle in Punjab

Chandigarh: A child was killed by a Chinese kite string near the gates of Nangal Chowk in Rupnagar. According to the information received from the child’s parents, the child was going on the road near the gate of Nangal Chowk on a bicycle yesterday when a china string got stuck in his neck and he suffered grave injuries.
     He was immediately rushed to civil hospital in Rupnagar where doctors declared him brought dead.
     The deceased has been identified as Gulshan (12), who was studying in Class VIII at Government High School Kotla Nihang.
