3 policemen suspended in Ludhiana for assaulting retired armyman by barging into house

Ludhiana: A retired army man living in Ludhiana was assaulted by three cops after barging into his house and threatening and beating up his family.

During a hearing on Tuesday, the High Court suspended 3 police personnel, while the Ludhiana Police Commissioner has also ordered an inquiry for a fair investigation into the case.

The case is under the Daba police station of Ludhiana, where after the complaint of a retired armyman, the High Court has ordered the suspension of three police personnel.

Babu Dhan, a retired army man, said that nine months ago, police personnel entered his house late at night without informing him and started threatening him and his family members. When he asked the reason, the angry employees took his family members, including his wife and children, into non-custody and took them away. The next day, he filed a police complaint.
