45-year-old uncle raped 15-year-old girl for two years

Patiala: A horrific case of rape has come to light in Patiala, Punjab. The girl, studying in class 9 here, was being raped by her uncle for the last two years. People were stunned when the matter was revealed.

The teenager said uncle threatened to kill her if she revealed anything about the incident to anyone. The police have registered a case against the accused under various sections and arrested him. The accused is about 45 years old. The teenager is 15 years old.

The victim’s mother has complained to the police station that her brother-in-law’s wife has died. After this, the accused started living with the family.

On January 19, 2024, the 15-year-old daughter told that her uncle has been physically assaulting for the last two years. He threatened to kill her due to this, she was very scared and didn’t narrate crime to anyone. In November 2023 too, the accused had raped the minor.

According to the police, a case has been registered against the accused and he has been arrested. The accused works as a daily wager.
