6 workers receive burn injuries after accident at Fatehgarh Sahib factory

Chandigarh: The accident took place in a furnace unit in Mandi Gobindgarh, Asia’s famous iron city in Fatehgarh Sahib. Six workers are reported to have suffered burn injuries after the chain of the machine broke and fell into the furnace.

The condition of two of these workers is said to be critical, who were referred to DMC Ludhiana.

Six labourers suffered serious burn injuries in the accident at CS Casting Private Limited, a furnace unit of Mandi Gobindgarh, who were brought to Civil Hospital Mandi Gobindgarh for treatment.

The condition of two labourers was critical and the condition of two labourers was referred to Ludhiana and two labourers are being treated at a local private hospital.
