New Delhi: At least one person was killed and four others injured in an explosion at a gelatin factory in Kakkanad area here.
The deceased has been identified as Rajan Orang, a resident of Punjab. An FIR has been registered under Section 174 of the CrPC, Police said. According to the police, the blast took place at around 8 am in the store area of scrap cans of Nita Gelatin Company.
Police said the cause of the blast would be known after an investigation.
