Jalandhar News: After a meeting with Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the farmer leaders claimed that the Chief Minister has accepted the demands. The Chief Minister has assured to increase the price of sugarcane and promised to run the sugar mills by November 30. The leaders said that it has been promised by the Chief Minister that the increased price of sugarcane will be announced in the coming session.
After this, it was announced to end the sit-in by the farmer organizations in Jalandhar, but at the same time he said that in this regard, the farmers sitting on the dharna in Jalandhar will be taken into confidence first and informed about the meeting.
