Akali Dal announces Surjit Kaur as its candidate

Jalandhar: The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) has announced two-time councillor Surjit Kaur as its candidate from Jalandhar West assembly constituency.

The members of the screening committee formed by the party include former President of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Jagir Kaur, District Rural President Jathedar Gurpartap Singh Wadala, former MP Mahendra Singh K.P, Dr. Sukhwinder Singh Sukhi, MLA from Banga constituency, said that Bibi Surjit Kaur, wife of Taksali Akali leader and former councillor Jathedar Pritam Singh, has been fielded from Jalandhar West assembly constituency.
