Punjab E News: The central government is also seen in action regarding the devastation caused by heavy rains and floods in Punjab and Himachal. Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to the Chief Ministers of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh over telephone and assured all possible help.
NDRF teams are present in both the states and if needed, more teams will also be sent for relief and rescue operations. Army has also been deployed in Punjab for relief and rescue work so that people can be helped.
