Badal’s Sukhvilas resort made with blood of Punjabis, says CM Mann

Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has attacked the Badal family and their Punjab Bachao Yatra on Thursday.

Addressing the media, Mann said that Sukh vila was made with the blood of Punjabi.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that Badal family acquired 85 kanals of land in Ballanpur village in 1985-86, an area designated as a forest zone where construction is prohibited.

He said that despite this, the Badal government amended regulations in 2009 to allow for the construction of a hotel under an eco-tourism policy. Subsequent approvals were obtained, and commercial operations commenced under the name Oberoi Sukhvilas.
