Bharat bandh call ineffective in Punjab: BSP protest in Jalandhar

Chandigarh: India shutdown was announced across the country against the Supreme Court’s suggestion to implement creamy layer in SC reservation. In Punjab, the Bharat bandh call seems ineffective. Dalit-tribal organizations are protesting in Jalandhar in the state.

The Bahujan Samaj Party is protesting at Rama Mandi Chowk, Buta Pind Chowk, Pathankot Chowk and other places against the India bandh. But the leaders have announced that they will not close people’s shops in any way. People’s work will continue and people will not be harassed.
