BLOOD DONATION IS A REAL SERVICE OF HUMANITY, HS BARSAT LAUDS EFFORTS OF WARRIOR GROUP

INAUGURATES BLOOD DONATION CAMP AT JALANDHAR HEIGHTS

Jalandhar:  Managing Director AGI Infra Ltd. Sukhdev Singh on Sunday described the Blood Donation as the real service of humanity as it could save millions of lives.

Addressing the gathering after inaugurating a Blood Donation Camp here at Jalandhar Heights-I, he said that Blood donors were the real heroes as they play a key role in helping the people in need. A total of 62 units of bloods were collected during the camp.

Lauding the efforts of NGP warrior group for organizing this camp, Mr. Singh said that more and more people especially the youngsters should come forward for donating blood and become active partners in this noble cause. He  said that this was the need of hour to strengthen the blood banks and make the country healthy.

He also said that blood donation was the biggest service that an individual could render to the society as it could help in saving many precious lives.

He said that every youth must realize that every blood donor was a hero due to which they should such regularly donate blood after every three months. He also asked them to motivate their peers to become regular voluntary blood donors to ensure sufficient stocks of blood needed for routine and emergency treatment.

Earlier, Aam Aadmi Party General secretary Harchand Singh Barsat also hailed the NGO Warrior group for taking up several humanitarian activities including medical checkup camps, blood donation camps, distribution of books to needy children, ect. NGO President Varun Kohli said that the organization also holds several sports event in the society to promote physical fitness among residents. Many events like premium leage, badminton championships are held regularly.

Mr. Sukhdev Singh and HS Barsat extended fulsome support and cooperation to the NGO in Its future endeavours. They also talked with the donors and handed over appreciation certificates to them during the function.

During the event team of doctors rendered services to blood donors. The team included Dr. Sanjay Mittal, Dr. Suman Mittal, Dr. Ankur Sehgal, Dr. Sajal Goel, Dr. Navneet Kaur Arora participated in the camp.

Meanwhile, President District Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission Harveen Bhardwaj, and DSP Subash Arora also visited the camp and interacted with blood donors. They lauded their humanitarian act to donate blood so as to prevent precious lives.

On the ocassion, Warriors NGO President Varun Kohli, Rajinder Raja, Sanjeev Arora. Davinder Saini, Anudeep Bajaj, Shamil Menon, Vishal Gumber, Vishal Chadha, Neetan Puri, Kamal Sehgal, Bobby Gulati, Sanjeev Ahuja, Robin Singh, Sanjeev Kalsi, Vikash Sharma, S.K.Mishra, Paras Juneja, Major General Arun Khanna, and Colonel Ajay Tikkar were present.
