The Punjab Cabinet meeting will be held on October 21 at 12 noon at the Civil Secretariat, Chandigarh. The Punjab government is all set to give away several gifts, including dearness allowance, to its employees and pensioners on the occasion of Diwali festival, which are likely to be announced in the cabinet meeting to be held on October 21.

This was indicated by the Finance Minister Punjab Harpal Singh Cheema in a meeting with a delegation of Punjab Government Pensioners Joint Front at Finance and Planning Bhawan, Chandigarh. The employees of Punjab have pinned high hopes on today’s meeting as many important announcements are likely to be made in the meeting being held before Diwali.
