Captain not attending Modi’s rally in Patiala, wife’s election campaign suffered a setback

Chandigarh: Former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, who had joined the BJP two years ago, will not attend Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Patiala rally here today due to health issues. Captain’s wife Preneet Kaur is the BJP candidate from Patiala Lok Sabha constituency.

His daughter Bibi Jaiinder Kaur clarified that the doctors asked him to take more rest so he could not come. His disappearance from today’s big rally is a setback for the party and the candidate.
