Car falls into Bhakhra canal, three feared drowned

Nangal: A car fell into the Bhakhra canal at Nangal. According to the information received, four members of Jawahar Market were going to pay obeisance at a temple. In the meantime, the Alto car fell into the Bhakhra canal. There were four members in the vehicle and one member has been rescued and a search is on for the rest.

According to the information, the search operation is going on under the leadership of diver Kamalpreet Singh.
The incident took place near MP Kothi on Nangal Rupnagar. Divers have reportedly pulled out a man who has been identified as Mohan Lal alive. Apart from this, efforts are being made to remove Akshay Kumar driver and his wife Suman Kumari and Santosh Kumari from the canal.
