Chandigarh mayoral election row: Triple bench to hear plea tomorrow

Chandigarh: The controversy over the Chandigarh mayoral election is still going on. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) councillors have approached the Supreme Court regarding this matter.

The Supreme Court has agreed to consider the petition of the councillors for urgent hearing. Now the Supreme Court has fixed the date of February 5 for hearing. The case will be heard by a triple bench in the Supreme Court tomorrow.

Even before this, AAP has knocked on the door of the Punjab and Haryana High Court.

Senior advocate Abhishek Singhvi is appearing for mayoral candidate councillor Kuldeep Kumar before a bench headed by Chief Magistrate DY Chandrachud.
