CM Mann, Arvind Kejriwal to hold rally in Ludhiana tomorrow, Traffic cops release route plan to avoid jams

Ludhiana: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will be addressing rallies in Ludhiana, tomorrow. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has completed preparations for the rally. Additionally, the traffic police have issued a route plan to prevent congestion and assist people.
     BMainly, four roads will be affected due to the rally: Samrala Chowk to Kohara Road, Sahnewal to Kohara Road, Neelon to Kohara/Dhanansu Road, and Southern Bypass Road.
The police have advised using the following routes:
1. Samrala Chowk – Traffic heading from Samrala Chowk to Chandigarh will be diverted via Sherpur Chowk to Doraha, and then toward Chandigarh from the Nilon Side.
2. Sahnewal Chowk – Traffic going from Sahnewal Chowk to Kohara will be redirected to Kohara-Machhiwar Road via Katani Kalan through Bhaini Sahib.
3. Nilo Canal Bridge – Traffic arriving from Chandigarh towards Ludhiana city will be guided through the Ludhiana city route via Doraha bypass from Neelon canal.
4. Kohara Chowk – Traffic coming from Machhiwara toward Ludhiana city will be rerouted via Sahnewal bridge through Doraha, Nilon, and then towards Ludhiana city.
5. Tibba Canal Bridge – Traffic approaching from the Dehlon side via Tibba Canal Bridge will be directed through Doraha Bypass using Delhi Highway or Doraha Road.
6. Verka Chowk- General traffic moving from Verka Cut towards Tibba Canal Bridge side will be directed via Jagraon Bridge from Bharat Nagar Chowk.
7. Ramgarh Chowk – Traffic from the Samrala Chowk side will be directed via Delhi Highway through Ludhiana Airport Road.
