Chandigarh: Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Monday alleged that former Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi had demanded a bribe of Rs 2 crore to give a job to a sportsperson. Mann has given Channi time till 2 pm on May 31, warning him against making public all the information about his nephew demanding bribe from the player in lieu of a government job.
CM Mann said that if Channi does not make the information public by 2 pm on May 31, then he himself will put all the information in front of the public.
Sources said that CM Mann will hold a press conference on May 31 in this regard.
