DC oversees plugging of canal breach in Nakodar

Reaches on the spot after receiving information about breach

Jalandhar: Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal today visited Mohem village to oversee the plugging of breach in Phillaur distributary of bust doab canal. The deputy commissioner immidiatly reached on the spot after receiving information about breach in canal.

He personally monitored the repairing and strengthening work at the breach point and directed the officials to keep a close tab over such incidents, especially during monsoon season. He directed to set up tehsil level flood control room to tackle such situation in a more responsive and coordinated manner.
