Diljit Dosanjh’s ‘Jodi’ banned from release 

Chandigarh: A Ludhiana court on Monday stayed the release of Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh’s new film “Jodi”, starring Diljit Dosanjh and Nimrat Khaira. 

   The film’s song ‘Meri Kalam Naam Bole’ has been released, which is getting a lot of response from the audience. 
     Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh’s new film ‘Jodi’ which was scheduled to be released on May 5. The ban on the film has been imposed by the Ludhiana court. 
With this, the matter will now be heard in the Ludhiana court on May 8. “The role of Diljit and Nimrat in the film makes it look like the film is based on Amar Singh Chamkila.” 
     It said that just like Diljit and Nimrat are singing songs in the film, the late singer Amar Singh
used to sing the same way.
