18-year-old youth dies of ‘drug overdose’

The death of 18-year-old Mehakveer Singh reportedly due to drug overdose in Malkana village here today, has caused a wave of mourning in the village. 

The family is demanding action against the culprits by placing the body on the road and held a protest. People saw the body of the youth lying in a pond in the village in the morning. Injection was found near his body. 

The police were investigating the case and body has been sent for postmortem examination.
