ED raids former Congress minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu’s house in Ludhiana
Ludhiana News: The Directorate of Transfer (ED) team today raided the house of Punjab Congress leader and former minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu. The ED team reached Ashu’s house near Kochhar Market in Ludhiana early in the morning.
Apart from this, the house of many officers of the Food and Supply Department is also being investigated.
No information has been given by the ED team regarding the case at the moment, while heavy police force is deployed outside the house of former minister Ashu.
Bharat Bhushan was the Food and Supplies Minister in the Congress government. During that time, Ashu was accused of many other scams, including the transportation of food grains.
