FIR against 10-year-old boy in Punjab for promoting gun-culture

Chandigarh: An FIR has been lodged against a 10-year-old boy in Punjab’s Amritsar for promoting gun culture. Being a minor, the Amritsar Rural Police is not giving additional information about the case yet. The Amritsar police have registered a case against the boy as well as his father and two others for promoting gun culture.

According to the information received, this case has been registered on a 10-year-old child in police station Kathunangal. The boy’s father Bhupinder Singh had posted a photo of his son standing with a gun and wearing a bullet belt on his shoulders on his Facebook profile.
This photo came to the notice of the cyber cell of the police. After investigation, the police traced the child, his father Bhupinder. After this, an FIR has also been registered against two other Vikramjeet and Visarat in the same case.
