Fire in factory caused by short circuit in Ludhiana

Chandigarh: A massive fire broke out in the warehouse in a factory on Tibba Road in Puneet Nagar, Ludhiana, Punjab. The fire caused panic in the area.

Upon seeing smoke billowing from the warehouse, local residents immediately alerted the employees working inside, who promptly rushed to the scene and saved their lives.

The intensity of the fire prompted nearby residents to evacuate their homes. Witnessing the flames, they promptly notified the fire brigade. Manjit Singh, a resident of the area, mentioned that his house is situated behind the building where the fire originated.

The fire has been raging for approximately an hour and a half. Despite efforts by the locals to control the blaze with water, it continued to spread.

Narrow lanes posed challenges for the fire brigade in transporting pipes to the site. As a result of the fire, all the thread stored in the warehouse was reduced to ashes.
