Four-time MP from Hoshiarpur Kamal Chaudhary passes away after prolonged illness
New Delhi: Kamal Chaudhary, a four-time Lok Sabha member from Hoshiarpur, passed away at his residence in Delhi this morning after a prolonged illness. He was 76 years old.
He is survived by his wife, son and daughter. His last rites will be performed at the Lodhi Road crematorium in Delhi this evening. Kamal Chaudhary was a fighter pilot in the Indian Air Force before joining politics.
He became a Member of Parliament three times on a Congress and once on a BJP ticket. His father Chaudhary Balbir Singh was also an MP and MLA.
