Gas leak at cold store in Kapurthala: Panic among people
Kapurthala News: After the gas leak accident in Punjab’s Ludhiana district, a case of gas leak was also reported in Kapurthala, causing panic among the people. The situation was controlled and the accident was averted.
In fact, a gas leak in the cold store located in Bhanolanga village of Kapurthala suddenly started leaking gas on Sunday evening. The gas began to spread in the air. The cold store staff immediately informed the police. As soon as the information was received, the police and administration officials reached the spot.
SDM, DSP, Tahsildar reached the spot
SDM Kapurthala Lal Vishwas Bains, Naib Tehsildar Rajiv Khosla, DSP Maninderpal Singh and SHO Of Police Station Sadar Sonamdeep Kaur along with police force reached the village and took stock of the situation. Also, stop the supply of gas with immediate effect.
