Government school teacher suspended after his video of slapping student goes viral in Abohar, father stands in support of teacher
Abohar News: The District Education Officer Elementary Education has suspended ETT teacher Rakesh Narang in connection with a viral video of a teacher slapping a child at a government school in Abohar’s Dhani.
In an order issued by the District Education Officer Elementary Education, Rakesh Narang, a teacher of Government Primary School Dhani Jita Singh, has been suspended with immediate effect for inhuman behaviour and dereliction of duty.
Krishan Singh, father of Class 3 student, said his son neither obeys anyone in the house nor does he complete his school work. He even keeps abusing everyone in the house.
He had complained to the school teacher to teach the child. The teacher has slapped the child in front of him.
Krishan Singh said that he stands in favour of the teacher. He said that the child is only afraid of the teacher and not of anyone else. During this time, someone made a video and made it viral.
