HC adjourns hearing on Amritpal Singh’s plea on May 31

Chandigarh: The Punjab and Haryana High Court today heard the case of Amritpal Singh, MP from Khadoor Sahib, who heads the Waris Punjab organisation. The Khadoor Sahib MP has challenged the charges against him under the NSA. The court adjourned the hearing till July 31 due to errors in the papers.

During the hearing, the public prosecutor told about the age and residence errors of Amritpal Singh’s parents, on which the court asked to correct the mistakes.

Amritpal Singh is currently under house arrest in Dibrugarh jail. On the other hand, Amritpal Singh’s lawyer has sought time to correct the information.
