Heavy rain alert in 10 districts of Punjab
Chandigarh News: The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert in 10 districts of Punjab today. Rain with strong winds is expected in these areas. While in some areas it has been raining since morning.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Hoshiarpur, Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Ludhiana, Moga, Ferozepur, Jalandhar, Kapurthala and Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar. It has been raining in Amritsar and surrounding areas since morning.
According to the Meteorological Department data, there will be intermittent rains in Punjab for the next two days. This rain will see a drop in temperature, while there is going to be relief from the sticky heat with a decrease in humidity.
