Heavy rain warning in 5 districts of Punjab: Yellow alert issued by Meteorological Department

Chandigarh: Heavy rains are expected in many areas of Punjab on Wednesday. A yellow alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department for five districts of the state.

These include Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur, Nawanshahr and Rupnagar. However, there is a possibility of rain in other districts.

On the other hand, there has been no change in the average temperature. It was 1.9 degrees above normal temperature.

The highest temperature in the state was recorded in Faridkot at 38.1 degrees. The temperature in other districts has been between 33 and 38 degrees.
