High stake Jalandhar bypolls, 42.60% voting recorded till 3pm

Jalandhar: The voter turnout in Jalandhar West Assembly constituency in Punjab was 42.60% till 3 pm. Polling began at 7 a.m. It will run till 6 pm.

Meanwhile, there are rumours of arrest of BJP candidate Sheetal Angural’s brother Rajan.

On this, BJP district head held a press conference and he alleged that the the state government is aware of this and is spreading rumours that he has been arrested.

BJP candidate and former MLA Sheetal Angural alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party has deployed workers from outside districts at polling booths.
